In partnership with Versah LLC, Dr Howard Gluckman will be hosting a 3-Day hands-on training programme in Chicago from Friday, 11 November 2022, to Sunday, 13 November 2022.
Below is a breakdown of what you can expect during each of the hands-on full-day courses:
Day 1: Creating Ideal Soft Tissue Around Implants
On Friday,11 November 2022, Dr Gluckman will instruct participants on soft tissue with the following learning objectives:
- Treatment planning
- Soft tissue manipulation to achieve predictable outcomes
- Review several techniques in order to maximize both functional and aesthetical results
- We will review practical tips on all aspects of soft tissue management, which you can take back to your practice
- Hands-on practical training utilizing actual pig jaws
Day 2: Guided Bone Regeneration Surgical Modalities
On Saturday, 12 November 2022, Dr Gluckman will instruct participants on GBR with the following learning objectives:
- Evidence-based augmentative procedures combined with up-to-date and current techniques
- Guided bone regeneration (GBR) aims to utilizing biologically active and supportive materials best coupled to the body’s healing process
- The use of non-resorbable titanium membranes, as well as the Khoury plates technique, can achieve GBR by ensuring graft stability and space maintenance so as to ensure optimal neovascularization
- Hands-on practical training utilizing actual pig jaws
Day 3: Partial Extraction Therapy (PET)
On Sunday, 13 November 2022, Dr Gluckman will instruct participants on PET with the following learning objectives:
- Partial Extraction Therapy (PET) Techniques
- Discuss how to maintain the buccal bone plate to prevent the collapse of the alveolar bone creating ideal soft tissue
- This lecture and hands-on will take you through the different options for immediate implant placement, including the PET step-by-step protocol
- Hands-on practical training utilizing simulation models
