I’m a Cape Town-based periodontist and implantologist with a clinical focus on dental implants, soft tissue aesthetics, oral medicine, and bone reconstruction.
The Implant and Aesthetics Academy (IAA) raises the bar in dental education, mentoring clinicians from around the globe in both foundational techniques and cutting-edge advancements.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: great dentistry is about more than technique — it’s about respect for biology, structure, and the person behind the smile.
From my early dental training in South Africa to advanced postgraduate and doctoral studies abroad, I’ve built a foundation rooted in both evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
My clinical work is focused on delivering precise, aesthetic, and biologically sound outcomes — particularly in challenging cases. By combining advanced surgical techniques with digital planning and a deep understanding of tissue behavior, I aim to restore not just smiles, but confidence and long-term function.
Through the IAA, I’ve trained thousands of dentists worldwide. I also lecture internationally and contribute to leading textbooks, peer-reviewed journals, and clinical protocols in implantology and regenerative dentistry.
I serve on the scientific board of DentalXP, and am a frequent speaker at major dental congresses, sharing knowledge on topics like soft tissue management, bone grafting, and implant design.
